Unlike traditional bricklaying methods, brick inlay allows bricks to be precisely embedded into precast concrete panels, ensuring superior durability, water resistance, and structural integrity while maintaining the aesthetic quality of each brick.
In this project, bricks were arranged in a randomized color pattern, creating a visually engaging and natural effect.
The combination of cutting-edge technique and thoughtful composition enabled the façade to retain the historic charm of St Crispin House while embracing a contemporary look that resonates with urban life.
The Pace of Abbotsford project was honored at the 2020 Excellence in Construction Awards, winning in the category of Excellence in High-Rise Apartment Buildings, a testament to its outstanding construction quality and design value.
