ONA Coffee Melbourne
Canberra’s award‑winning specialty roaster Ona Coffee has opened its first Melbourne café in Brunswick, and the space is as much about sustainability as it is about exceptional coffee. Behind the warehouse conversion on Ovens Street lies the creativity of Breathe Architecture and their close relationship with Form Brick, bringing back to life some waste product form Form Bricks brick cutting line.
Guided by its philosophy of Sustainability Through Simplicity, BREATHE collaborated with Form Brick to source and reshape 100% brick waste, diverting them from landfill and seamlessly integrating them into the café’s façade and espresso bar. The result is a vibrant, low‑carbon exterior that exemplifies Ona Coffee’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
