Fellowship in Kew

Located in Kew, Victoria, Fellowship is a residential development designed by LIFE Architecture & Urban Design in collaboration with SORA Interiors and landscape architect Jack Merlo. The project comprises two low-rise apartment buildings set within landscaped gardens, drawing inspiration from Kew’s established streetscape and post-war architectural heritage.

Form Brick's Role

Form Brick provided brick cutting services for the Fellowship project.

The façade incorporates a range of brick details influenced by the masonry character of the surrounding neighbourhood. To support these design requirements, Form Brick supplied custom cut brick facings manufactured to the project’s specifications, helping achieve a consistent finish across the development.

Architecture and Materiality

The development consists of two three-level buildings containing ten residences, including a collection of penthouses with rooftop gardens and pools.

Brick is a defining material throughout the project, complemented by landscaping and natural materials that connect the buildings to their surroundings. Feature brick screens and carefully detailed masonry elements contribute depth and texture to the façade while referencing the area’s architectural history.

The residences are designed to maximise natural light, outdoor living and connections to landscaped spaces through courtyards, terraces and gardens.
