Introduction
The Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre upgrade used brick facings cut and blended from excess bricks from previous projects. The Bricks were originally sourse from Lincoln Brick works in Tarree and Namoi Valley bricks.bricks sourced from Lincoln Brickworks in Taree, New South Wales. The goal was to achieve a soft blend of natural colours, consistent and durable to suit a busy retail area.

Brick Inlay and Reclaimed Materials
The bricks used in this project were sourced from Lincoln Brickworks, a long‑standing brick manufacturer known for producing clay bricks with natural variation and distinctive character.
Brick facings were cut from full bricks remaining from various previous projects. By repurposing these reclaimed bricks and integrating them into Form Brick’s brick inlay system, the project achieved a warm, blended palette of red tones with authentic clay texture.
The waste brick facings were intentionally kept in their natural condition. Surface preparation was minimal, retaining the original clay variation and subtle imperfections that highlight the character of reclaimed materials. No additional finishing was applied.
Form Brick maintains stock of reclaimed and waste brick byproducts, enabling materials from earlier projects to be reused where suitable and supporting sustainable construction practices.
Construction Outcome
Using reclaimed brick facings and recycled brick components reduced reliance on new brick supply and improved material efficiency. The approach also minimised waste and ensured responsible use of existing resources.
